BabbaCo in CANADA! I love CANADA! Peter and I actually got engaged in Montreal, which was the most memorable and stunning place on a quiet December day. I still have a great warm feeling whenever someone mentions Canada.
A few weeks ago, I got in touch with an incredible woman who distributes products in Canada. Mary is such an inspirational person all around as a mom of 2 boys running a successful distribution company! Through her, we are now available in CANADA! We will keep adding our stores on the "stores" tab of our website. I wanted to highlight one store in particular who is having a great sale in March.

Purple Pupa (www.purplepupa.com) is an online store in Canada with the focus of offering American products to Canadians. What a perfect match! They carry clothing lines such as Deux Par Deux, Juicy Couture, Baby Legs, and so much more. She has something for boys and girls sizes 0-16! The name was inspired by their nickname for her daughter, which was "pupa" meaning "doll" in Italian. So cute! You'll find whatever you need at this adorable store with amazing taste!

Purple Pupa is one of our first retailer partners in Canada and they now have the BabbaCovers! FREE shipping to Canada for all orders over $99 before taxes and there is a special discount code for everything (including sale items). 10% off with code: PUPA2009.
I love all of these incredible moms who are running their successful companies all over the world! There is nothing like a business call that gets the job done, yet we're able to swap stories about our kids or our conversation gets interrupted by her son running off with the other phone receiver. It makes me so proud to be a MOMpreneur. To all of you out there, a huge HIGH FIVE, hip bump, and happy dance. Looking forward to furthering our partnership!

Piggy in Pink...makes her debut! Pretty in Pink....is now Piggy in PInk! Some people ask me how these designs get created. Why a Pig?? Well, we received a slightly darker shade of pink than what I originally ordered for the new pink Beep Beep. Instead of returning it, we thought, "what else could we do with this?" Can we make a pink poodle? NO. What about a pink elephant? NO, that's stretching it. Then, Esther suggested a PIG! Of course! Babies are our little piglets...it's perfect!
We researched all the different types of pigs out there. What do real pigs look like? What do cartoon pigs look like? (Do you remember Porky the Pig...th..th...tha...that's all folks!?) Luckily, people on our team were obsessed with pigs, so we rounded all of them up.
Who knew there were so many different versions? We played around with all the different components of OUR Piggy in PInk...and we're so excited to present them to you!
Here she is at her first photo shoot! Isn't she super cute? I LOVE the simplicity of her facial features along with her floppy ears. Check her out on our online store as well as our retailers to see it in person!
FYI: My product photographer, Patrick, is amazing! He totally knows how to shoot any type of product in the best way. We're so thankful that he's on our team! This photo shoot in particular was done at 10pm after one of my trade show days. I would have been exhausted, but Pat's genius ways behind the camera kept me energized! If anyone needs someone in the Chicago area, feel free to contact me for his info! My lifestyle photographer is equally incredible! Vanessa Frosch... Read More »

Beep Beep in....PINK!
Before I gave birth, I wanted the gender neutral colors. I registered for green and yellow. I wanted to be more practical even though I knew I was having a baby girl. After Kayla popped out, I covered her in PINK. It's funny how that happens.
I designed my first Beep Beep in green for that same reason - to allow other parents to be more practical. However, I got SO many requests to make Beep Beep in PINK! Store owners and consumers directly emailed me and made numerous suggestions. So, here it is!!!
I searched so many different lots of PINK dye to find the right shade. This pink is not TOO pink. My team thought I was crazy when I kept returning samples and passionately pointing out the difference between pinks that you could only see in the right shade of sun light. Regardless, I finally found it! It's available online here and at all of our amazing retailers.
When you email me your suggestions and call me with thoughts, I'm totally taking notes! Keep them coming! :)
